Learning & Development Manager Job- 12 Month FTC

Oakleaf are working with a prestigious Professional services company who are looking for an Learning & Development Manager . The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the design, delivery and project management of learning programmes and related projects to support the firm to achieve its strategic ambitions.

You will be involved in a variety of a different programmes tailored from Early Talent to senior stakeholders. You will have a passion for learning, excellent project management skills and solid experience of a similar role.

This role is an initial 12-month FTC

Learning & Development Manager Job- 12 Month FTC - Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, facilitate and evaluate programmes, workshops and team building events, drawing on knowledge of adult learning theories, various training design methods and using IT technologies to provide commercial L & D solutions. Examples of the workshops may include early talent learning sessions and the delivery of team strategy sessions.
  • Manage, develop, implement and evaluate core learning programmes (e.g., for Apprentices, Summer Scheme students, Trainees and qualified Solicitors) and projects (e.g., the firm's onboarding programme improvements)
  • Draw on knowledge of adult learning theories, various training design methods and using technology to provide commercial L&D solutions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to complete a learning needs analysis and to develop and implement commercial blended learning solutions, utilising resources on the new Learning Management System.
  • Design and manage individual learning solutions, such as coaching, or follow ups to learning programmes.
  • Research, design and deliver innovative learning solutions to meet the learning needs, including multi-channel and blended learning delivery (e.g., deliver learning webinars or facilitate hybrid workshops).
  • Manage junior members of the team.
  • Collaborate and manage relevant areas of the L&D budget.

Learning & Development Manager Job- 12 Month FTC - Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Designed and developed programmes from learning needs analysis to successful delivery.
  • Capable of working in a flexible and fast-changing firm that is implementing large changes to the learning environment, such as a new LMS and career development.
  • Experienced facilitator of learning in person, virtually or in a hybrid format.
  • Managed learning projects
  • Worked with blended learning solutions and used technology to achieve L&D objectives.
