The HR Coordinator assists with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties, in the Hounslow office.

Description

The key responsibilities of the HRCoordinator in Hounslow will be:

  • Take responsibility to conduct referencing and security vetting to successfully complete applicant's Airside ID Pass applications.
  • Oversee a satisfactory tailored referencing and security vetting service to all clients and applicants ensuring all correct Department for Transport, CAA, and Airport Authority procedures are followed.
  • Register and log referencing requests as received
  • Discuss and verify the details of new applicants' 5-year employment/educational etc. history and chase the applicant's referees to facilitate the quick completion of the applicant's Airside ID Pass application.
  • Deal with any client or applicant inquiries in a satisfactory and professional manner.
  • To be flexible and able to respond and adapt to the requirements of working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ensure that all candidate ID pass applications are uploaded on to ID Gateway ID Pass Application systems where required.
  • Request and ensure all relevant candidate information is available to undertake complete referencing process.
  • Verify, send, and chase references via post, email, and phone where required.
  • Inform client of completed or abandoned packs
  • Build rapport with referees to ensure prompt return of requested reference
  • Manage GSAT courses where applicable
  • Google candidates' name and date of birth together with the word "media"-check and print the response
  • Coordinate candidate's applications for Criminal Record Checks- candidates are sent information explaining how to apply for UK CRCs by post or online and are followed up to ensure they have applied. Ready certificates are collated and added to the candidate's pack. Additionally, we can give candidates information regarding applying for overseas CRCs and apply for candidates CRC on their behalf
  • Regular verbal and email updates to operational Managers re referencing progress
  • Maintain accurate records of all your client and candidate dealings
  • Provide Tracking Sheets with completed packs explaining how each reference was obtained
  • Quality check is completed on reference packs

Profile

The successful HR Coordinator will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Current knowledge, and ability to interpret aviation vetting and referencing standards
  • Good analytical and IT skills
  • Ability to negotiate and influence business users at all levels
  • Experience of referencing within the aviation sector.
  • Knowledge of vetting and HR systems, preferably IDgateway
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure in a dynamic workplace

Job Offer

On offer for the HR Coordinator is :

  • Temporary role available
  • 37.5 hours a week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Office based with possibility for 1/2 days from home
  • Salary up to £28,000 equivalent
  • Free parking on site with free bus into airport
