HR Officer, Public Sector, up to £32,000 (equivalent hourly rate), 6 months temporary contract, Norwich/Hybrid
Your new company
Your new organisation operates within the public sector. They are seeking a dependable HR officer to support the team on a temporary basis (6 months). Supporting one of their divisions, you will operate within the generalist remit, supporting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, initiatives, and systems across a wide range of service areas.
This role has access to hybrid working.
Your new role
You will provide advice and support to all stakeholders within the organisation. Your day to day may include the following responsibilities:
- HR advice and support
- Recruitment and selection
- Onboarding, inductions, and exit interviews
- Training and Performance Management
- Attendance management and absence reviews
- Employee relations issues
- Transfer and exit arrangements
- Policy and procedure implementation
- Managing ER caseload
- Any duties commensurate with role grading.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it is paramount that you have working experience within a similar role, and be qualified, or be in the process of securing your intermediate CIPD qualifications.
You will have previous experience of working in a fast paced HR team, providing advice, and supporting on employment relations issues.
You will have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
What you'll get in return
In return, you'll receive an hourly rate equivalent to up to £32,000, holiday entitlement, pension contribution, amongst other benefits.
