Your new company
Hays is pleased to be working exclusively with a leading global manufacturing organisation, to appoint a Benefits Specialist to join their team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will work as part of a well established HR team, where you will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing the companies overall benefits package. This will include reviewing and benchmarking the current offering and making proposals for any recommended changes.


Your new role
As a Benefits Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, developing and administering a number of schemes within the organisation.
  • Review current benefit policies and procedure to that these are in line with regulations.
  • Provide support to the Payroll Manager to deliver on strategic benefits objectives.
  • Benchmark the current benefits offering against the market and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Utilise your market knowledge to identify trends in the market and within legislation.
  • Ensure that any changes to the benefits program are effectively communicated to all employees.
  • Built relationship with external providers for the provision of benefits.
  • Work with line managers and the wider HR team to ensure that employee benefit information is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR.




What you'll need to succeed

  • Third level qualification in a Business, HR or Finance related field
  • Or, significant work experience in a benefits related role
  • Previous experience in reward and benefits within a large organisation
  • Previous experience performing benefits analysis and the ability to translate findings into proposals
  • Experience with advising on benefits and rewards at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • IT proficient
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable
