L&D Manager | Permanent | North Manchester / Hybrid | £43,000
Your new company
Successful, Dynamic and Growing Organisation based in north Manchester are seeking to appoint a talented L&D Manager to join their committed, friendly team working in a hybrid pattern.
Your new role
In this vital and varied role you'll join as a pivotal member of the People, Culture & Values Department to provide a full L&D service to all areas of the business focusing on strategic function development and L&D operational support and delivery. You'll be responsible for the management of the full function, training needs analysis, programme development and delivery - aligned to businesses and strategic plan & requirements. You'll partner department Heads and line manage 1 assistant with future opportunity to grow your team. Working closely with the Head of People you'll manage and develop an effective L&D function covering a broad range of strategic and functional duties including:
LMS management and development
Training Needs Analysis
Training Creation & Delivery - developed in collaboration with key stakeholders
Deliver Strategically aligned Smart L&D solutions to performance and training needs
Develop and Champion the in-house academy
Review, develop and create L&D policies and processes
Management Development Programme Delivery & Progression
Manage 3rd party providers
Presenting and delivering blended mix of training including induction programme for new joiners
Develop and in depth understanding of the business for optimum aligned solution delivery
Work collaboratively with the wider HR team and managers
Produce and maintain meaningful reporting data and insights
Direct the Apprenticeship Programme
Manage and Develop the Graduate Programme
Attend Appropriate Recruitment Fairs and Events
This role would suit a dynamic L&D Manager or L&D Advisor ready to move up, seeking a new challenge within a progressive, people focused and successful organisation
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven Experience within a generalist L&D role
- Excellent Presentation & Interpersonal Skills
- Proven Record of Training Delivery
- An inquisitive approach
- Ability to quickly comprehend a complex business
- Analytical Skills
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent Qualification / working towards
- Coaching qualification is desirable
- Exemplary Communication Skills
- Strong IT capabilities
- Experience creating content for LMS - ideally knowledge of absorb and articulate
- Experience of training design and delivery
- Line management experience not essential
