Recruitment Advisor

  • Permanent up to £40,000 + bonus + 5% pension

Oakleaf Partnership are representing a UK based law firm circa 650 ppl. The firm is headquartered in London and have recently put big investment into growing their northern presence with a large Manchester hub, Liverpool and Leeds office. This role will be situated in the Manchester office, a newly created role to ensure a northern presence and relevant market knowledge is achieved in the team.

What is the role

You will take briefs from managers and source for business services and fee earner roles, screening anyone suitable and recommending them for interview. You'll support the recruitment of trainee solicitors on assessment days and how they score applications. Management of agency PSL relationships and updating terms of business will fall under this role. With the support of a Coordinator, you'll draft adverts, interview questions, job descriptions, and ensure vacancy and candidates trackers are up to date. As well as steady resourcing, there is seasonal (trainees/grads) or volume (multiple paralegals for a big case).

Candidate profile / experience

The successful candidate will have experience in-house or agency, preferably in the legal or professional services industry. A background recruiting business services is required, and fee earner experience would be benificial, as the market is very competitive.
