Global Payroll Operations Leader

Global Payroll Operations Leader - £500-600 per day (negotiable) - 3-6 months - Remote (international travel required)

My client is a leading global brand within the pharmaceutical market.

Currently they are in pursuit of a Global Payroll Operations Leader to support them with payroll operations and governance on an interim basis, whilst they recruit a permanent head count. This role could go permanent for the right interim individual.

The role will include:

- Leading global payroll operations and managing the associated payroll activities.
own the vendor relationship with regular review of SLA and KPIs
- Drive optimization across the global payroll processes and services,
identifying opportunities to optimize the end-to-end process.
- Lead, manage, support and develop the payroll team.
- Partner with Finance on general ledger postings to ensure accuracy.
- Take the lead on the integration of payrolls of acquired or merged companies.

To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:

- Have solid experience in managing multiple country payrolls across the globe and managing subsequent payroll vendor relationships
- Be a strong decision maker with a solutions focussed attitude
- Be able to build fruitful relationships with external partners, such as insurance brokers and third-party administrators.
- Create a positive work environment for their team with a high level of integrity and be able to lead from the front.
