Chief People Officer

A Chief People Officer role with a Basingstoke hub pays up to £120,000 pa leading HR in a medical / healthcare brand

A multinational Healthcare / Medical brand with class leading products and services. We are looking for a Chief People Officer to join and lead exciting development plans as part of wider business progression.


Your new role
Forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will have true responsibility for the development and direction of the HR function as it pertains to service delivery and the wider group. The CPO will instil insightful, creative people solutions to align with and promote the organisations cultural, performance and development goals. This role will also support the setting of group business strategies as a position of senior leadership.

Creation and development of progressive plans in areas such as DEI, well-being and talent attraction will form a large focal aspect of this role. You will ensure that policy is modern, equitable and engaging, leading to successful employee retention and future talent planning. As part of reviewing the EVP and its suitability, you will also lead the creation of an exciting staff focused reward strategy that ticks the boxes of best practice and a great market position.

As a leader in an ambitious group, as and when required, you will work cohesively as part of the SLT on due diligence, harmonisation, resource reallocation and cultural integration.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience operating at board level, being a sound, trusted advisor to a progressive organisation. You will have a proven capacity to build strong relationships, cultivating a respect based mindset internally. You will bring new, rationalised ideas and solutions, focused on the organisations commercial planning and be comfortable as an innovator. You will have demonstrable experience in an ambitious, progressive HR and commercial unit.

What you'll get in return
A salary of up to £120,000 pa + benefits package.
