Partnering the business in all things culture and learning, the role of the OD Manager is to lead all OD interventions to enable people performance

Description

Reporting to the Director of People and with responsibility for the OD Advisor, you will manage the OD team functions including budget planning and developing the OD service to the business.

Working with the organisation to further embed the values and create sustained and visible opportunities for colleagues to develop skills and behaviours that contribute to the delivery of excellent services and a thriving organisation

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to);

  • Leading a small team to develop organisational culture using our Behavioural Competency Framework as the foundation, and build core and professional skills amongst our workforce that drive organisational performance
  • Working in partnership with the wider People Team to deliver the People Strategy and corporate objectives, including a refreshed EDI action plan and delivery of the new Leadership Development Programme
  • Analysing relevant data sets, such as survey results, to provide insight through management information. You will assist stakeholders to apply this MI to inform people considerations, such as effective recruitment and induction, enhancing capability, building skills for the future, succession planning and talent management
  • Overseeing the design, implementation and delivery of OD and L&D interventions in support of people and business strategies and in response to recommendations arising from casework
  • Ensuring the ongoing evolution of mandatory training framework, focused on it being fit for purpose at a corporate and role level, in partnership with key colleagues across the organisation
  • Leading on shaping the approach to appraisals, ensuring development needs are aligned to individual, team and corporate objectives and focused on enabling sustained organisational performance
  • Managing the Employee Insight Framework; ensuring the organisation hears the voice of colleagues specifically through annual and pulse surveys, analysing and reporting on results and supporting leaders to shape relevant actions

Profile

You will be an existing OD Partner or Manager, in a similar delivery-focused role, with responsibility for delivering an OD service, with experience in budget managing, planning and KPIs.

You will have demonstrable experience in;

  • Planning, designing and delivering multiple organisational development projects and initiatives across the business
  • Conducting impact evaluation and interpreting and presenting data to illustrate the impact and return on investment
  • Management development, program design, delivery and facilitation
  • Managing an OD team or line report

Job Offer

A salary up to £49,403 DOE plus benefits

The role is based in Liverpool, with some adhoc need to travel to sites in Cheshire East
