This is a Temporary Resourcing officer role based out of Guildford.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Resourcing officer will be:

  • Liaise with Managers to ensure job descriptions and person specifications are reviewed, accurately represent job content and advise on the wording of recruitment advertisements and ensure they meet Trust Criteria.
  • Prepare and place adverts internally, externally and on the internet site. Liaise with (advertising) agencies to ensure presentation meets Trust guidelines and associated costs are within agreed budgets.
  • Administration of HR systems. Input all job details accurately including relevant supporting information. Advise managers on appropriate closing dates. Identify and input filtering/short listing criteria.
  • Forward appropriate applications to managers, inform applicants if unsuccessful or if short-listed and prepare information packs for each position advertised
  • Deal with all recruitment enquiries from interested candidates. Input candidate's
    details on recruitment database including ethnic monitoring information and update
    application status on a regular basis
  • Administer the short listing for managers and be responsible for inviting candidates
    to interview and reject unsuccessful candidates ensuring that appropriate records are
    kept.
  • Prepare interview packs for managers and panel members ensuring all information
    is accurate, confirm the attendance of short listed candidates and after the interview
    liaise with the recruiting manager to ensure all paperwork properly completed and
    submitted by the manager.

Profile

The successful candidate of the Resourcing officer will be:

  • Relevant experience of working in a Resourcing function with the ability to organise and carry out important support and administration tasks
  • Highly systems literate. Experience in using, maintaining and reporting from HR systems
  • Strong customer service ethic and good team player
  • Strong Excel skills including proven capability in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Strong Word skills including mail merge
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to clearly articulate points and arguments to others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to deal with employees, line managers and external third parties in a professional and friendly manner
  • Experience of working in a busy, corporate environment. Resilient to deal with fast-moving environment and frequently changing priorities
  • Strong intellect. Able to understand concepts and processes. Able to understand and manage links between different processes and different departments
