Regional Employee Relations Case Advisor

Frazer Jones is partnering with a national brand to help them recruit a Regional Employee Relations Advisor. This is a newly created role due to growth and will cover the Southwest Region. This role will be mainly home based with a blended approach to travel to sites in and around the Bristol area.

As the Regional Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide, proactive, professional ER advice and guidance. You will lead managers through Grievance, Disciplinary, Performance and Sickness, ensuring you are coaching and guiding with accountability for all advice, relationships, and case work within your allocated business units. You will ensure that cases adhere to the appropriate procedure and are managed in line with the level of risk and relevant employment legislation.

You will be expected to attend formal case hearings and will be accountable to prepare, support, direct and coach managers through the hearing process in line with Company policy, guidelines, best practice, as well as employment law requirements.

Volume will be anywhere from 20-40 cases and will cover from first line support up to complex and highly sensitive cases.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience of working within Employee Relation case work, you will have worked on high volume and complex cases covering Grievance, Disciplinary, Performance and sickness. You will have attended and managed case hearings, providing all advice and support on the hearing process and policy issue.

You will have excellent stakeholder relationship skills along with the ability to coach managers to achieve successful resolutions. You will proactively influence and persuade managers to take appropriate actions to minimize risk to the business. You will be a confident and resilient person who is a self-starter, adapting communication skills and style accordingly dependent on your client group.
