Accounts Payable Supervisor - About the role
You will be responsible for the management and payment of supplier base in accordance with group and entity policies. other responsibilities include ensuring supplier invoices are scanned, distributed, processed and allocated for authorisation on the system on a timely basis, ensure accurate recovery of input VAT , management of the invoice authorisation process, timely and accurate passing of invoices to nominal, vehicles and subcontract liabilities, as applicable, communicate unauthorised invoice position weekly, timely resolution of supplier queries with budget holders, monthly supplier statement reconciliations, , dealing with and resolving any account anomalies as they arise Monthly / mid monthly supplier payment runs in accordance with timetable timely closure of purchase ledger at month end in accordance with management accounts deadline, formal monthly review of aged creditors with accountant and as appropriate Management and creation of new supplier accounts and master creditors in accordance with group policy.
 
As a supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
·Management and control of purchase ledger team
·Performance management and review
·Annual appraisal and regular one to one reviews
·Internal audit compliance
 
Accounts Payable Supervisor - About you:
·Minimum of two years recent experience in a supervisory / team leader role.
·Previous accounts payable experience.
·Computer literate with demonstrable ability in Microsoft packagers and databases, (Word, Excel, Outlook).
·Excellent communications skills both written and verbally.
