UK Finance Manager

Finance Manager | Full time and Permanent | Office based | based near Heathrow | up to £50k
 
Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with one of the worlds best in class Aerospace Logistics Suppliers in the industry. Stepping into this role as a  Finance Manager  you will own and manage the provision of finance information to the EMEA business and Group HQ in the UK. As an essential member of the team  the role will include activities such as month end, annual budgeting, operational and business analysis, year end audits and ad hoc projects defined by the business.
 
Finance Manager - About the role
You will be responsible for statutory reporting, where you will be preparing and submitting VAT returns for both UK entities, management accounting, developing budgets and financial plans, cash management and capital reports, taxation and regulation, treasury management, controls and procedures, systems, supplier management and people management where you will be a mentor and coach other staff.
 
Key duties will involve
Preparing a set of management accounts and supporting information. Presenting and discussing with management, making recommendation on improvements.
Prepare company statutory account with full audit pack. Manage audit and timeframes for delivering stat accounts.
Guide and manage the budgets and forecast process.
Treasury management. Maintain oversight and control of the company's working capital (debtors/creditors), prepare cashflow forecasts.
Oversee other accounting services, including payroll, VAT, P11D, and corporation tax calculations.
Be a business partner to the business, undertaken process improvement and seeking continuous improvement in Finance and other areas of the business. Supporting in the evaluation of new projects, new business appraisal, and capital investments.
 
 
Finance Manager - About you
·Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
·Good understanding of accounting practices & terminology required
·Good working knowledge of finance systems
·Intermediate IT skills
