Job Evaluation Analyst (HR), Public Sector, Ipswich/Flexible Hybrid, circa £32,000 (equiv. rate.)

Your new company
Your new organisation, a large public sector client is looking to undergo a pay and reward project in the evaluation and analysis of jobs. As such, they are looking for a strong HR professional to join the team for a period of up to 2 months as a Job Evaluation Analyst.

All training will be provided. Fundamentally, you will need to be at a good Advisory level, with a confidence for holding meetings and recording data.

This role can be operated mostly remote, with the expectation for minimal travel, and equipment pick up.

Your new role
You will be supporting the analysis and evaluation of jobs in accordance with the agreed job evaluation scheme, ensuring the computerised system is kept maintained, and up to date. You will provide a statistical analysis of outcomes, as required by the Pay and Reward lead.

Your daily duties may comprise of the below:

  • Undertake training to learn about the Job Evaluation scheme
  • Maintain and ensure efficient use of the system
  • Derive information from agreed sources for evaluation, amongst additional research
  • Verify and collate job evaluation meetings, in a professional manner with all parties concerned
  • Organise own workload
  • Produce reports when requested
  • Support pay and reward lead in the analysis of jobs, evaluation outcomes and any potential re-evaluations
  • Any other duties commensurate with job grading


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need a strong background in HR, ideally to an advisory level. It would be of great use if you have history in supporting job evaluations.

You will be well presented, and comfortable with data entry and presentation.

This role requires an immediate start, latest being the 13th of March.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £32,000 (equivalent rate), plus other benefits.
