Global Employee Relations Lead

My client are a renowned Tech brand in Central London. Due to expansion globally, they are looking for a specialist Employee Relations Lead to support the team globally. Reporting into the Global HR Operations Lead - this role will lead on delivering a proactive and efficient function covering multiple regions.

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Build, implement and sustain a data-informed Employee Relations strategy whilst ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  • Lead the development and implementation of an ER framework for all key ER activities, including, but not limited to grievance and disciplinary investigations, absence and performance management etc.;
  • Lead the development and review of employment policies, ensuring they are legally compliant and updated to reflect employment legislation changes
  • Partner with both business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs, thoroughly conduct the investigation and reach the best outcomes for our organisation and employees
  • Work on projects and initiatives to mitigate risk, support or participate in special projects/programs requiring ER stakeholder input
  • Represent the organisation in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labour organisations.

Key experience/skills:

  • Sufficient experience in Employee Relations or HR Business Partners, extensive employee relations expertise and in-depth knowledge of current ER legislation and best practice
  • Proven leadership track record with at least 5 years of solid experience in leading global teams
  • Experience dealing with a wide range of complex grievances and disciplinaries with a thorough understanding of dispute resolution and compensation administration
  • Project planning and implementation skills, strong people and influencing abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, demonstrated communication and organisational skills with the competency to influence across all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
