Payroll Administrator / Haywards Heath / Accountancy
Client Details
A Haywards Heath employer of choice are looking to recruit a full time permanent Payroll Administrator.
Description
As Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Process and Input payroll data accurately into the payroll system - monthly
- Update, maintain & calculate Occupational Sick Pay, Statutory payments including SSP SMP and SPP
- Ensure all payroll and department deadlines are met
- Liaise with departments to ensure payroll data is received on time
- Ensure all filing systems online & paper are maintained on a regular basis
- Ensure all 3rd party payments are paid by the relevant deadlines as well as all data sent/uploaded to the relevant providers.
- Assess company expenses for P11d purposes monthly
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality
- Ensure all Statutory enquiry forms are accurately completed by the relevant deadlines
Profile
- You will have good overall payroll knowledge including manual tax and calculations.
- You will have a good level of computer skills, and the ability to learn new software, and good Excel skills would be helpful
- Enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently.
- Able to use own initiative and proactive in resolving queries
- Good relationship building skills, within HR and Finance as well as with our employees
- Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task effectively
