C4 Employee Relations Casework Lead

You’re a Human Resources professional, in the true sense of the word. You’re trusted and experienced in employee relations and you’re well-versed in best-practice people management. Promoting a healthy, diverse and inclusive culture is what you thrive on. So, are you ready to see what more you can do? Join FCDO Services: a diverse organisation offering everything from embassy construction to cyber security to diplomatic deliveries, for governments worldwide.

Bring casework experience to complex situations

With colleagues across skillsets and continents, our Employee Relations casework can be complex, but you’re up to the task. As a growing leader, you’ll use your knowledge and experience to inspire a culture of continuous improvement, and develop casework strategies that help us support colleagues and manage financial and reputation risk. Whether it’s employment tribunals, supporting on health and welfare matters or engaging trade unions, you’ll guide your team to provide a prompt, efficient service.

Support diversity that takes us all further

Diversity is always at the forefront of your mind, so you’ll work closely with others to find new ways to foster a healthy, diverse and inclusive workforce. You’ll support in every way you can, from raising awareness of employee relation policies and ethical codes, to enabling the implementation of new processes and monitoring management information to identify trends. The result? You’ll be active in helping us be more consciously inclusive every day.

Impact our global network

This role is your chance to help strengthen the culture at FCDO Services, as well as our positive relationship with our people. Your employee relations expertise will support our workforce. As well as experience of casework, employment law and managing a quality service, you’ll bring your CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) to do the best job you can. In short, it’s your job – bigger.

All our employees have to be security cleared before being appointed, so you will need to undergo a vetting process as part of your application. This role requires you to go through Security Clearance Vetting (SC). You can find out more about vetting on our website.

It takes a diverse team to protect a diverse world.

The vital work we do takes an incredible community of colleagues, with different skills, backgrounds, cultures and identities. We support every individual, so that you always know you’re welcome and valued. It’s what makes us a Disability Confident employer. And why we’re recognised as a ‘Carer Confident’ workplace. And it’s how you know you’re joining an inspiring, inclusive organisation.
