Job Details

You'll lead the development and delivery of the Digital Learning Strategy, in line with the Group Strategy. You'll be accountable for the procurement and/or development of the learning management system, ensuring that all colleagues have access to continuous learning and career development opportunities. You'll also be responsible for developing all digital learning content and managing campaigns to drive a self-led learning culture

My client is a well-known group organisation based in Manchester, within the transport sector
Description
Reporting in to the Head of L&D, the Digital Learning Manager will lead the development and delivery of the Digital Learning Strategy, in line with the Group Strategy.
You will approach learning with a digital lens, applying technology in the learning space with the ultimate goal of taking colleagues on a positive self-service learning journey
Responsibilities will include;
- The procurement and/or development of the learning management system, ensuring that all colleagues have access to continuous learning and career development opportunities
- Developing all digital learning content and managing campaigns to drive a self-led learning culture
- Liaison with internal stakeholders from IT and Marketing to develop the LMS and establish the internal learning journey
- Using innovative digital methods to create exciting content - Linkedin Learning, Ted Talks, podcasts, vlogs etc
Profile
The ideal candidate will have/be;
* Proven experience of building and leading a Digital Learning Strategy within a complex, multi-site organisation
* Experience in developing and/or deploying a learning management system (i.e. SAP Success Factors, Cornerstone, Learning Pool LXP or similar) and how to optimise its use to maximise learning
* Experience of creating digital learning content, using authoring tools, such as Articulate Rise, Storyline and Adobe Captivate, video creation software and alternative applications
* You'll be a great communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills alongside the ability to prioritise effectively across various work streams at any one time
* Ideally you will have experience in or a passion for VR
Job Offer
A salary of up to £54,000 (DOE) plus bonus and benefits
The role is offered on a hybrid basis (circa 3 days in the office)
