HR Advisor

Hays HR are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to work for a company based on the outskirts of Leeds. This role is a 12 month contract and will consider applications from people looking for part or full time work. This role is varied, supporting the HR Manager, providing end to end HR support together with supporting the line managers at the site with employee relations cases.

Day to day activities include:

• Providing a first class HR advisory service to managers in areas such as disciplinary, capability, grievance, occupational health, absence management, alongside matters relating to family leave.
• Work on HR projects, in line with corporate objectives.
• Produce reports as and when required.
• Monitor the HR Service desk inbox and respond to any enquiries.
• Recruitment, onboarding and probation monitoring.
• Contractual changes

They are looking for a motivated, driven and organised individual. Someone who is committed to carrying out their duties with integrity and confidentiality. Be capable of working with minimal supervision whilst being part of a remote team.

What you'll need to succeed

• A HR generalist with recent HR Advisory experience expertly advising on employee relations such as absence management, grievances, investigations
• Strong UK employment law knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (via phone, email, face to face) with great attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills in order to manage ER cases simultaneously
• Strong experience of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Confident in guiding line managers on policies, procedures, processes etc
• CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
