Role based in Cambridge, hybrid working available.

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be supporting our client to attract an experienced HR Advisor for this exciting role. This successful facilities management company are looking for someone hands-on who will hit the ground running to be the first point of contact for HR enquiries on a new contract based in Cambridge.

You will work in a unionised environment to provide an efficient and dedicated first line of support on HR policy and practices such as disciplinaries, grievances, absences and performance management. You will also provide general HR assistance and work closely with line managers to support them and create improvement plans.

This role is based on-site in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for any HR professionals who are ready for their next step up and are looking to develop and progress within the generalist space.

As a successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Experience working in an HR Advisory capacity
* Proven track record of HR generalist experience
* Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice
* Hands-on, adaptable, and flexible
* Practical problem solver
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
* CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification
