Actively seeking an experienced HR Lead to work for a growing business based in central London

Client Details

Our client is a sucessful and growing business within the professional services sector actively seeking an experienced HR Lead to drive the people & culture function on a standalone basis. This role is a permanent position ideally targeting someone who enjoys being in the office and being completely responsible for the full employee lifecycle.

Description

  • Management of complex employee relations including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances,
  • sickness, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Development of policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Advise senior management on employment terms and conditions, sharing knowledge and best practice.
  • Keep HR Partner updated with relevant employment legislation and changes to employment law.
  • Monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  • Assist HR Partner with ad-hoc research projects and provide recommendations.
  • Provide annual industry salary reviews across all disciplines, making recommendations where necessary.
  • Manage salary updates and amendments to personnel schedules.
  • Develop, implement, and report on key HR metrics (inc, staff turnover, promotions, degrees, APC passes.
  • Manage new starter experience (contracts paperwork, inductions, training, IT, equipment, etc.)
  • Support the finance team with payroll, compensation and benefits, and pension information.
  • Manage company leaver procedures (letters, exit meetings, holiday calculations & personnel/system
  • updates).
  • Liaise with external HR expert for advice and support where necessary.
  • Company HR representative for annual ISO90001 review.Lead the Development Working Group.
  • Manage and deliver the company Development Matrix, reviewing, researching training providers,
  • organising sessions, and evaluating feedback.
  • Lead annual and interim personal development appraisal programme for all staff.
  • Advise and support managers to proactively manage team expectations by setting clear and honest
  • objectives. Providing written SMART objectives where needed.Manage all recruitment needs for the company, including implementing and continually developing a
  • robust recruitment process.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including direct liaison with team
  • mangers and finance team, advertising, sifting and selection of CV's, arranging interviews and preparing
  • all employment offers.

Profile

  • Proven HR generalist experience of five years is expected.
  • Knowledge of appropriate employment legislation and experience managing employee relations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people at all levels internally and externally in course of work.
  • Strong level of influence and negotiation skills, resilient and approachable with confidence to make difficult decisions.
  • Not looking for Hybrid working as majority of this role is office based.
