Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to head up the HR Department and manage the day to day provision of a quality human resources service to both the management team and the wider staff community of approximately c200 staff.

Description
The HR Manager will support the Governors, Principal and Financial Controller in developing and delivering human resources strategies which support the strategic aims and objectives of the organisation. You will lead on HR based projects and policy development as required whilst being involved in the day to day support of the staff body.
Managing a HR Assistant, the HR Manager will also work closely with the Payroll Officer based in the Bursary department.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Essential:
* Experience of HR functions within a medium size organisation;
* Experience of managing and dealing with all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, capability and grievance;
* Knowledge of employment law;
* Management of HR staff.
Desirable
* Experience of HR functions in an educational environment.
Job Offer
- Salary is depending on application and previous experience.
- 25 days holiday, rising to 30 days after 2 years' service, plus bank holidays
- Support staff pension and life insurance
Working hours are from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday throughout the year. Options for hybrid working may be considered.
