Hays HR are proud to recruit a HR Business Partner for our valued client who operate in Manufacturing. This is a newly created role within the business due to exciting growth plans. You will report into the Group HR Manager, with full accountability for the site in South Wales. As a Group,headcount will double over the next 2 years. There really is no better time to join this business as sales continue to sore and product numbers increase. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders across designated business area(s), pro-actively contribute to the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of effective HR solutions which support timely and efficient delivery of HR services across the Group. Working continuously in partnership with key stakeholders, design HR solutions that sustain and improve high levels of employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance measures People really are at the heart of everything this business does. Your new role

 

  • Understand the business area, the stakeholders, and their challenges and work collaboratively with the Group HR Manager to deliver an effective high-quality service.
  • Advice and guidance on HR matters.
  • Coach, mentor and advise line managers/ staff, where appropriate, to enable understanding and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to Organisational Development and strategy using skills, experience, and knowledge from the business area.
  • Develop and maintain HR information via Access and provide training to others where necessary.
  • Provide the SLT with clear and accurate measures on HR performance, providing advice and guidance on how to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Work with key stakeholders, ensure 'fit for purpose' systems, structures, skills and behaviours are in place, ensuring that organization plans are continually updated to support current and longer- term ambitious organizational plans.
  • Design, develop, implement and review appropriate policies and procedures to ensure they are legally compliant and flexible to meet future business needs.
  • Lead and implement disciplinary and grievance procedures, managing the entire process, conducting investigations to include note taking when required.
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders, ensure new employees have an effective induction to the business and that any development needs are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the development, implementation and evaluation of performance management / talent management/succession planning/ reward processes.
  • Work closely with Line Managers ensure effective management of complex sickness absence, to including supporting and coaching line managers, occupational health referrals and follow ups, and managing all other support services as required.
