This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and would love to work in a dynamic and progressive environment. This role offers hybrid working, 2/3 days a week at the office in Slough.

Client Details

Our client is a large organisation, who employ circa 3000 people in the UK. You will be joining a team of 4 immediate colleagues in HR, as part of the wider people team. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn and grow in your role, whilst being supported by dedicated colleagues.

Description

The HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Advising and guiding line managers on best practice when dealing with a wide range of HR issues
  • Onboarding of new starters
  • Dealing with a wide range of employee relations issues, from sickness to AWOL
  • Working with the Head of HR on a variety of projects and rolling these out across the group
  • Becoming a trusted advisor within the organisation

Profile

The ideal HR Advisor will have the following skills/qualities:

  • Experience in HR generalist role

  • High computer literacy including advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, reporting from HRIS

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both oral and written

  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales

  • Well organised and effective team member that can work under own initiative to deliver objectives

Job Offer
