A fantastic opportunity to join a public sector client as their Development Pathway Manager. This is a 12 month FTC. You will make this a great place to work by enhancing their careers and development offer through the design and development of a Development Pathway framework for the company.
Description
This will be a key project which you will lead, working collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement a framework and develop solutions to help colleagues release their potential.
You will design and implement a new Development Pathways framework which will achieve our aims to develop our people, integrating with our wider performance and development framework.
Working with leaders and teams, you will analyse and map essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours for roles across all teams.
You will develop and implement a framework which will ensure colleagues are clear about the competencies they need for both current and potential future roles and routes to develop the knowledge and skills needed to be successful and release potential.
You will facilitate and co-design with leaders and teams to enable change and support adoption of the new framework. You will work effectively with stakeholders to gain buy-in to the design and use feedback to shape and refine the framework and development offer.
You will actively manage the project and will establish, agree, and work with stakeholders to design and implement the new Development Pathways framework to agreed timescales and quality.
You will collaborate effectively with colleagues within Learning & Development and the wider People Services team to manage inter dependencies.
You will lead by example, role modelling our Ways of Working. You will coach managers at all levels to develop their capabilities to make this a great place to work.
Profile
* Experience of designing competency frameworks, including detailed design stage.
* Proven experience of developing L&D offers and solutions to develop capability.
* Delivery of people related initiatives.
* Experience of development and implementation of L&D and/or Talent Management strategies
* Significant experience in Learning and Development
* Significant experience of working with stakeholders to manage expectations and satisfy requirements
* Significant experience of coaching and advising leadership colleagues to achieve results
* Experience of designing and developing interventions to achieve behaviour change outcomes
* Excellent relationship management, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills
* Effective communication, oral and written skills working with a variety of audiences and levels across the whole organisation
* Highly organised and able to manage a portfolio including multiple initiatives
