Do you have a Clinical/Medical background within L&D or Training?
 
We are working with a growing healthcare organisation based in the Derbyshire area in their search for a Clinical L&D Specialist to join their team on a permanent and full time basis.
 
This role will require national travel on occasion, and based on site in Swadlincote.
 
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Permanent, Full time
Based in Derbyshire, Swadlincote
 
This role will include:
 
·Design, create and implement a company clinical training platform in line with business Strategy, covering the core mandatory training function within the nursing department, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
·Develop an annual Clinical Learning and Development strategy that aligns with the People and wider business strategy.
·Developing a bespoke Induction programme
·Partner with key functional leads in the development of training materials and competency sessions against SOP's, policies, process, and systems
·Devise and implement a robust system for scheduling induction and refresher training that meets service need.
·Develop, with the assistance of functional leads and managers, effective probationary training documents and programmes
·Ensure the principles of the key business strategies and values are embedded into the planning and delivery of learning.
·Deliver Internal training programmes
·Provide support and guidance for nurse's revalidation.
·Support Nurse Managers to embed new knowledge and evidence-based practice following successful delivery of clinical training across their staff teams.
·Support and assist on training and nurse competency matter's within service improvement projects that deliver on business objectives based on customer feedback, best practice, and clinical excellence.
