Hays HR are proud to partner with our valued Public Sector partner, who are looking to appoint a Organisational Development Manager. This is a super opportunity to join our client on a 9 months FTC, with offices based in Cardiff. The successful candidate will lead on the development and delivery of the Organisational Development Programme. Instrumental in creating and building Organisation Development initiatives and Staff Development activities as a team and at an individual level that are aligned to our clients strategic vision and wider ambitions, working collaboratively as a member of the Organisational & Staff Development (OD) Team.

Your new role
* Lead internal and external partners to develop and deliver a contemporary, flexible and cost-effective Staff Development Programme that is evidenced by high customer satisfaction, supports the development and enhancement of the capabilities required by the University' strategic plans and is consistent with the expectations of a Russell Group University.
*Lead on the delivery of organisational development initiatives, aligned to our clients strategy and wider ambitions, to improve organisational performance, drive culture change and build capabilities, working with key stakeholders to achieve change.
*Prepare and deliver proposals to senior management and executive board to influence decision making.
*Design learning materials in a range of methodologies which will include but is not exclusive to: workshop (virtual and face to face), group coaching, e-learning, video production, and written.
*To design and facilitate bespoke in-house events including workshops, away days as required

What you'll need to succeed
*Postgraduate/Professional qualification/NVQ 5 or equivalent experience; CIPD certificate in training practice or equivalent.
*Substantial experience of working within Organisational Development and the delivery and evaluation of training activities at all levels in a large complex organisation.
*Experience of delivering a portfolio of leadership training from entry to senior staff levels.
*Experience of leading and managing Organisational development projects and the implementation of other strategic projects and initiatives.
*Evidence of ability to explore customers' needs, adapt the service, and set customer expectations and the ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
*Excellent IT and oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
