Oakleaf Partnership are working with a large Not for Profit organisation who are seeking an HR Shared Services Manager. The role will lead the delivery of an effective and professional shared service to drive increased customer service in-line with organisational objectives. The team supports over 3,000 colleagues within a business that is going through transformational change. This role will make a significant contribution to the organisation's people plan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Shared Services Manager who wants to facilitate and support change. The role is based in Preston and offers hybrid working.

What is the role?

As an HR Shared Services Manager, you will lead a team of Shared Service Administrators in the delivery of professional shared service to colleagues across the organisation. You will establish Service Level Agreements to ensure high customer satisfaction and enable continuous improvement. You will create performance reports, and review and develop people processes. You will build the competence of the HR Shared Service team to solve queries and act as a subject matter expert for escalations. You will embed procedures and practices and define team objectives. You will manage training needs and succession planning within the team and ensure all BAU activity is managed and delivered throughout the year and contribute to projects within the wider HR team.


Candidate profile/experience


The successful candidate will have previous management-level experience within a transactional HR Shared Service, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels. You will be customer-focused and passionate about quality of service. You will ideally have previous project experience with exposure to TUPE and Acquisition although this is not essential. CIPD Qualification Level 5/7 is also desirable.
