Were seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead a busy recruitment team in Bournemouth, Dorset


We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Recruitment manager to lead a talented recruitment team working closely with individual job seekers and recruiting managers ensuring a speedy and efficient recruitment and selection process. .

As a Recruitment Manager you will lead recruitment across the organisation, building relationships and partnering with managers, overseeing recruitment needs and delivery through the team.

  • You will have overall responsibility for delivery of a quality, comprehensive and customer focused professional recruitment service, and will be working with an experienced and capable Recruitment Team.
  • You will be using your positive and innovative approach in making continuous improvement
  • Planning for a broad range of recruitment activities, including: · Specialist recruitment events, targeted recruitment utilising specialist media and/or employment agency support, supporting departments with high volume needs and trouble shooting
  • You will work as part of various staffing groups including apprentices, vocational, recruitment and onboarding/training.
  • Maintain and manage key data / trends and reporting of recruitment performance
  • Working with digital and communications team
  • Develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for day to day line management of the General Recruitment Team with pastoral care/guidance to the team
  • Providing specific recruitment advice in response to Recruitment queries, and escalating or referring to other teams within HR when necessary, this may include information of a complex or sensitive nature
  • Deputise for the Head of Resourcing as needed

Candidates
Were seeking experienced recruitment professionals who have the gravitas, confidence and ability to work with senior managers and also lead a recruitment team.

  • Significant experience of leading a recruitment team
  • Experience of performance management and complaints handling.
  • Evidence of the ability to implement and manage change.
  • Evidence of implementing new recruitment practices and procedures.
  • Experience of managing all stages of the recruitment and selection process, including debriefing unsuccessful applicants.
  • Experience of organising recruitment activities and events
  • Experience of regularly using a range of recruitment ATS systems
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and report on complex data including vacancy rates, recruitment trajectories
  • Degree in relevant area and professional HR qualification or equivalent experience.


The Offer

  • You will be based at a modern office in Bournemouth with hybrid working available circa 2 days per week from home. You will have occasional visits to sites in Dorset when required eg to deliver recruiting training, open days or specialist meetings.
  • Flexible working/hybrid working - Full time 37.5 hours
