Accounts Payable Specialist | Full time and Permanent | Hybrid | Office located in Farringdon| up to £55k
 
Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with a global construction company who are in the market searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for the correct processing of all incoming invoices, the setup of vendor master data, reconciliation of relevant accounts, as well as the preparation of the payment runs. In addition they will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of Fixed Asset records, their disposal as well as the capitalization of sub-assets such as expansion or full overhaul cost
 
Accounts Payable Specialist - About the role
·Working for a small number of group subsidiaries in Germany, UK, USA, UAE, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium
·Process invoices in foreign languages (DE, EN, FR)
·Post invoices in SAP
·Allocate to correct account and project
·Manage invoice / goods receipt issues with supplier
·Reconcile Goods Receipt/No Invoice accounts
·Prepare payment proposal in SAP
·Upload payment proposal to bank
·Reconcile bank accounts
·Reconcile vendor accounts
·Manage prepayments
·Process expense reports
·Entry of correct tax handling
·Prepare VAT/Sales Tax reporting
·Manage accruals
·Build a close relationship with supported entities (Germany, UK, USA)
·Manage Master Data setup of new vendors
·Setup Fixed Assets in SAP
·Reconcile Assets under Construction accounts
·Monitor accounts for transactions that need to be capitalized
·Collect necessary supporting information
·Manage capitalization of sub-assets e.g. expansion or full overhaul cost
·Manage disposal of assets
·(Potential expansion of role: Manage sale and lease back process)
·Additional tasks as required
 
Accounts Payable Specialist - About you
·Vocational training as specialist accounting
·Work experiences in specific field 2 years or more
·SAP R/3 experience required
·Good working knowledge of Ms Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
·Languages: English (full fluency), German (not required, but a great addition)
·Reliable, structured and efficient
