Our client are looking to appoint their first HR professional into their organisation at an exciting time where they are looking to bring HR in house for the first time. The organisation have circa 40 employees and would like to take this opportunity to have a CIPD qualified HR expert in house who can be the go to person for all things HR and who can ensure the business have a strong strategy set up to get the best out of their people.

Whilst we don't know exactly what a typical day might look like in this newly created role, we anticipate you will be required to carry out the below tasks initially, with the role evolving over time

  • Establish a performance management/capability framework across the organisation
  • Address employee relations issues and work on preventative measures
  • Focus on employee engagement and talent development
  • Establish a recruitment process and strategy that can be adopted across the organisation
  • Deliver training/workshop sessions to managers and staff to up-skill
  • Review and re-vamp HR policies and handbook (if required)

This is a part time opportunity that could be worked anywhere from 1-3 days per week depending on your experience. Candidates will need to come from a background at HR Management level and ideally will be fully CIPD qualified.
