UK HR Manager - Doncaster (with flexible / WFH options) - circa £55000 DOE & qualifications - plus great benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation is the rapidly expanding digital arm of a large European organisation.
Both the European and UK division are going through a period of growth and change / continuous improvement.

Your new role
This is an excellent senior generalist HR role where you will use your HR knowledge to the full and have a degree of autonomy. You will advise the Directors on the UK focused People Agenda while offering strategic advice on the international operations.

Aswell as managing day to day general HR issues (particularly in the areas of pay, recruitment, training, and 1st line employment law advice), you will be leading the implementation of current and changing "good" HR practice including the global People Policy.

As HR Manager you will be responsible for:

-Designing, reviewing, updating and ensuring all written HR Policies and Processes.
-Advising Managers on the employee lifecycle with specific reference on all HR and labour law related issues.
-Promoting positive Employee relations through effective communication of HR related topics, Team meetings, the biannual Employee Survey and discussions with staff, will be included in your role.
-Responsible for running the 2 calendar monthly payrolls, implement salary changes and advise on annual salary reviews and labour market benefits.
-Review and advise on changes to all Employee benefits to ensure we offer a competitive offering, with particular responsibility for pensions, EAP and flexible holidays.
-Advise on Health and Safety issues, with particular reference to a computing environment and safe use of VDU equipment.
-Identify and filling training gaps, promoting internal development and manage the training & development suppliers. Additionally, you will run the Compliance training programme for all Employees.
-You will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives including cultural management aligned with the overall business strategy
-Building up strong relationships with key stakeholders in UK and Europe will be necessary for your role.
-You will undertake HR Supplier Management and ensure internal compliance with Group rules and regulations

This role is hybrid with flexibility - but ideally 2 days a week in the office in Doncaster.
There maybe the occasional travel and European Head Office visits.

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Professional to work within a large European Group during its growth and improvement stage.

What you'll need to succeed
Solid experience working as a HR Manager within a growing small/medium organisation - ideally some European or International reach/knowledge.
IT 'Agile' experience would be beneficial.
Experience of managing & implementing a range of people activities, e.g. change programmes, performance management and recruitment.
Exposure to corporate compliance systems and or ISO 27001 Audit experience can be useful
CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum - or demonstratable experience level.
Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking
Good IT, excel and reporting skills
