Oakleaf Partnership are representing an amazing UK charity. We are in search of an experienced Total Reward professional for a Reward Specialist role. The role will take the lead in compensation and benefits activities, working closely with the Head of People Strategy, HRIS, and Reward. The purpose of the role will be to develop pay, reward, benefit, and performance strategy that supports the charity's workforce attraction, retention, and development.

The Reward Specialist role:

  • Research and recommend creative solutions to pay and benefits.
  • Manage salary survey and benchmarking activities and model costs.
  • Manage the annual salary review.
  • Day to day management of all benefits and the introduction of new benefits.
  • Manage the organisation's job evaluation scheme.
  • Work closely with benefit providers.
  • Work with Organisational Development to manage the annual performance review cycle and communication.
  • Act as the lead contact for performance cycle activity from objective setting to end of year ratings, pay modelling and implementation of pay changes.
  • Generate reports and analytics; review and analyse performance data, ensuring a linkage between reward performance.
  • Regularly review all reward related policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all statutory compliance requirements including HMRC, pensions and pay gap reporting.

Candidate profile / experience:

  • A sound knowledge of all aspects of reward including job families, short- and long-term incentives, cash, pensions, benefits, recognition, as well as performance related reward mechanisms both financial and non-financial.
  • Excellent analytical and excel skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at the highest levels within the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Confidence and ability to influence and make change.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
