Hybrid working (3 days in the office - 2 days WFH)

I have taken an exciting L&D Specialist opportunity within a leading, global Trading firm. This hire will be the first specialist L&D hire within EMEA & APAC, with all design through to delivery being managed out of their US department, which will bring the successful individual the opportunity to truly take ownership of the function & build proactive relationships within the business.

We are looking for experienced L&D professionals with experience within fast-paced, dynamic environments & who have the ability to work independently. Ideally, the individual's background will be from an SME-sized Financial Services or Tech firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing research and needs analysis
  • Identifying appropriate and detailed learning objectives based on business drivers and performance
  • Using a content-development framework to create engaging and effective learning materials
  • Designing comprehensive learning experiences to support a variety of modalities
  • Evaluating feedback and prioritising updates to improve experiences for future learners

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 8+ years of experience in talent development or a similar field
  • Expertise in adult learning, learning design and programme development
  • Able to serve as a mentor and thought leader to other members of the HR team
  • Highly collaborative and detail-oriented, able to work well in a flat organisational structure
  • Adaptable multi-tasker with strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English required
