Job Details
An exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a Government department based in London. This will be a 2 year FTC initially to start ASAP.
Client Details
A reputable Government office based in London, offering hybrid working.
Description
The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for:
* Managing the employee life-cycle, ensuring deadlines are processed in time
* Developing and delivering expert HR services; joiners, leavers, maternity / paternity / parental leave, flexible working requests, sickness absence etc
* Supporting HR policy development
* Producing HR casework data and reports
* Overseeing the work and management of a HR Officer & Apprentice
* Ensuring the HR system is maintained and up to date
* Continuous HR improvement processes.
Profile
The successful HR Advisor must have:
* Experience managing the employee life-cycle
* Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Strong communication & teamwork skills
* Experience of working within the Government or public services sector would be desirable.
