Macmillan Davies are delighted to be exclusively partnering with one of the most iconic brands in the country who have an exciting new opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Employee Relations Manager to join their wider HR team based within buzzy offices in central Liverpool.

Here you will be actively encouraged to work collaboratively and with innovation and not be confined solely to the tasks in your job description, creativity is embraced and celebrated.

As ER Manager working for such a unique and dynamic organisation your role will be to manage a whole variety of end to end casework mainly around conduct, grievances, welfare and wellbeing and includes handling highly sensitive and complex cases up to tribunal. In addition you'll be collaboratively working with the HR team to look at continued policy development and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

* Manage, alongside the HR Services team, all ER enquiries received from managers, employees and key stakeholders
* Management of people related cases through to conclusion, recommending actions to Line Managers on grievance, disciplinary, capability, absence, poor performance, flexible working arrangements.
* Advise and train managers in best ER practices for managing line manager concerns and employee grievances.
* Collaborate with wider HR Team and HR Business Partners on policy that requires development
* Manage and review the Occupational Health Policy and process
* Ensure the ER agenda and Policies are reflected in the approach on emotional and physical wellbeing

This is a brand new role which has great potential to grow and develop so you'll need to be an experienced ER Manager or an exceptional ER Advisor who is looking for the next step into a senior position which has a likelihood of building a team around you in the future.

Skills & Experience:

* Demonstrable experience in managing ER cases from end to end and up to tribunal level
* Commercial acumen with the ability to manage and balance risk
* Proven track record of partnering with Senior stakeholders.
* Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and practices and employment law.
* Experience of working in a unionised environment and or/a TU recognition process.
