Were seeking an experienced HR professional who has solid employer relations case work background in Dorset


We have an opportunity for an experienced HR & ER professional to join a large organisation in Bournemouth, Dorset.

You will be working as part of a professional HR team which deliver a comprehensive HR & OD services across the organisation

Your role as a Senior HR Advisor/Senior ER Advisor will be focused on providing a advice to managers on a wide variety of employer relations case work and people management.

  • You will ensure best practice in employee relations, and people management through the provision of high quality proactive, pragmatic and timely advice to leaders, managers and staff.
  • This is a varied and interesting role in which you will support case management, organisational change, development and employee wellbeing
  • You will manage a case load of employer relations specifically around the management of discipline, grievance, performance, dignity and respect, sickness absence and other relevant employee relations issues.
  • Support Investigating Officers in undertaking investigations.
  • Provide advice and guidance in respect of relevant employment legislation, and support the investigations office in the drafting of reports.
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with recognised Trade Unions as appropriate.

Candidates
  • You will ideally be a Chartered member of the CIPD or preferably working towards this status and be able to demonstrate broad generalist human resources & Employer relations experience
  • You will be well versed in all aspects of employee relations including grievance, discipline, absence, sickness, performance, dismissal
  • Ideally we are looking for experience of working within complex organisations including unions
  • You will possess a thorough and up to date understanding of employment legislation and have the ability to negotiate and work in partnership.
  • This is an ideal opportunity to further develop skills and experience and to become involved in more challenging strategic elements of human resources.

The role is offered on a permanent basis, full time
Working onsite circa 2 days per week in Bournemouth office and sites
