HR Assistant/Officer, Manufacturing Sector, South Norfolk, circa £25,000-32,000 + excellent benefits.

Your new company
Hays are partnering with a multi-site global manufacturing organisation to support the recruitment of an ambitious HR professional. With sites based in Norfolk, you will be supporting a busy HR team as they continue to grow, develop, and thrive. Primarily, you will be based in South Norfolk, Hethel.

This role is designed to provide excellent professional development, this organisation wants to grow their own and push you to become the best you can be! You will ideally have experience at a HR Assistant level with the determination to succeed, upskill, and flourish.

This role offers hybrid working and a 4.5 day working week (no salary sacrifice).

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will provide first line generalist support to stakeholders across the business. This role is crucial for the success and efficient running of the HR function, with duties to be composed of the below. Do not not any of it shake your ambition, this organisation wants to help you get you to the point whereby you can confidently perform the below:

  • HR Administration and queries
  • Employee relations cases, including the support of investigations, manager guidance, and note taking.
  • Analysing HR data and escalating any patterns
  • Updating HR policies in line with employment law
  • Supporting projects and initiatives
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will have experience at a transactional level, have succeeded in an entry level role, or at HR Assistant/Officer level. Holding a CIPD accreditation is desired but not essential. Crucially, you will be a self-starter, driven, and innovative. You will be able to prioritise workload, and be proactive in your approach. Being an excellent communicator, both written and verbal is key to the success of this role, as you balance requirements from stakeholders all across the business.
