We have a current opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner on a permanent basis.
Position Title: Talent Acquisition Manager
Sector: Insurance
Location: London, City
Status: Permanent, Hybrid
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team and assist the business as a subject matter expert on talent attraction, best practice, and campaign management. As a Recruitment Partner, you will manage the end-to-end hiring process, work closely with the business and market, and provide a time and cost-saving resource to assist in our continued growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
Manage live vacancies from start to finish, including maintenance of the recruitment database and applicant tracking system
Build and maintain relationships with external talent for proactive talent pipelining
Source candidates for specific roles through existing pool, advertising, proactive approaches, and agency use when necessary
Manage agency relationships PSL and non-PSL, specific to the consultant dealing at the appropriate level in the market
Screen and interview candidates, shortlist them, and manage the interview process with line managers, including room and refreshment bookings
Establish and develop relationships with hiring managers and business unit leaders to discuss forthcoming budgeted hires, speculative applicants, and the business unit's growth strategy from a talent perspective
Manage offers and start dates with line managers and candidates
Conduct pre-start and start checks for new hires
Provide data analysis and reporting relating to salary, role, candidate, time to hire, cost savings, and agency fee paid where applicable
Collate all required information for HR, audit, and compliance to issue employment contracts
Manage the marketing collateral for the Talent Team, internally and externally
Attend industry conferences, events, and networking seminars to raise the firms Employer Brand
Requirements:
Previous in-house/internal recruitment experience, ideally within a broking or reinsurance company
Proven experience in partnering with the business, understanding their needs, and proactively pipelining candidates for current and future planning roles
Ability to manage multiple live vacancies and other recruitment project-based tasks with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage expectations
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn recruiter
Proficient in Microsoft Office
