Hybrid HR Business Partner opportunity to start May 2023 for a 15 Month FTC


Is your current contract due to end in the next month?

Are you looking to join an established organisation to support them on a 15 month FTC to start beginning of May 2023?

I am supporting a leader within their field on the recruitment of an HR Business Partner to support the Teesside region covering various sub sectors within the organisation. You will work as part of the Business Partner team working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to deliver on the people agenda.

Within your position you will need to be able to demonstrate experience within the following areas:

  • Strong Employment Law knowledge
  • Ability to manage complex ER caseloads
  • Exposure to TUPE
  • Providing coaching to line managers on all people matters


This role is hybrid where you will split your time 50/50 between the organisation and home. Other responsibilities include:

  • Coaching line managers to enable them to use best practice solutions to manage on people issues
  • Manage complex caseloads on a wide range of people issues
  • Support managers on recruitment for their teams and how to retain within the workforce
  • Report and monitor on HR metrics
  • Oversee absence management and conduct welfare meetings
  • Support on people projects and other adhoc projects:
    • Wellbeing
    • Workforce planning
    • Change and Transformation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business
