HR Coordinator (Part-time, 2-Days, 15 Hours), Education Sector, Lowestoft, up to £22,489 + excellent benefits

Your new company
Hays are partnering with an organisation within the education sector on the search for a part-time (2-days) HR Coordinator. You will be supporting the excellent provision of generalist and learning activities to all of their internal and external stakeholders.

There is flexibility on when 2 days can be worked, but there is a preference for later in the week to provide coverage alongside other HR Coordinators. The working day is between 9am-5pm, but start and finish times can be discussed to support lifestyle.

The salary offered for this role is £22,489 (Fulltime equivalent).

This role offers great HR exposure, the opportunity to grow, and to work within a supportive and progressive culture. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at an assistive/admin level.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will perform along the generalist remit conducting duties such as the below:

  • Providing first line support to staff
  • Coordinating the onboarding process
  • Coordinating early recruitment processes
  • Coordinating professional learning opportunities
  • Starter processes
  • IT enrolment
  • HR queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading sickness admin
  • Coordinating probation reviews
  • Supporting early level employee relations procedures
  • Minute taking
  • Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Promoting a positive and DEI focused teaching, learning and working environment
  • Any other duties commensurate of role grade.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have proven experience of working in an administrative environment, have sound communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to work collaboratively. It is desirable that you hold a CIPD level 3 qualification, but proven experience is as equally valued.

Fundamentally, you will have a thirst for learning and personal professional development. You will also be able to maintain confidentially and accurately administrate information both on paper, and via IT systems.
