Part time 30 hours per week HRBP or People Business Partner

Working for an education setting based in Exeter. This role is a 12 month contract to cover maternity.
The role is 29.6 hours per week on site.

Your new role
To proactively support the provision of a professional and business focused generalist People/HR service to staff and managers.
To provide a professional, solution driven generalist People/HR service to the college including the
Senior Leadership Team, managers, and staff within defined faculties/departments.
To build strong credible relationships with college managers and staff to fully understand their challenges and work with them to creatively identify solutions, and ways in which the People service can add value.
To build the capability and confidence of line managers across the college.
Case management of complex cases within allocated area of responsibility.
To work to deliver the People function and cross-College objectives and critical success factors.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of managing individual cases; including probationary, grievance, disciplinary, capability, including performance and ill health and absentee cases, towards satisfactory conclusion.
Experience of taking a lead role with all arrangements required on the termination of employment including redundancy, retirement, dismissals and contract expiry.
Experience of supporting managers to implement and embed change within an organisation.
Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in the Education sector
Line management experience
