HR Manager Ballymena Permanent Role £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

A well-established manufacturing company based in Ballymena is looking to recruit for an HR Manager on a permanent basis.

Your new role
As HR Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Leadership, development and coaching of the HR team
• Develop HR strategies to meet the objectives of the business and address any challenges to promote continuous improvement
• Provide an effective people planning and resourcing service including providing guidance in developing job descriptions, advising, and designing appropriate selection methods, and participating in interviews as required
• Negotiate all terms of business and external agencies to ensure recruitment solutions are cost effective
• Effective management of Apprenticeship Programme, including promotion in schools/colleges, recruitment & selection, review process
• Provide advice on employee relations across all aspects of employee relations issues and provide continuous development of employee engagement
• Manage the company performance review systems, ensuring quality and quantity of feedback and establish systematic career development planning and succession planning
• Develop and implement the communication strategy across the business to improve employee engagement and understand of the business needs.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this HR Manager position will have the following:

• Previous experience in an HR generalist role
• Experience in a management position
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment & selection, learning & development, performance management, payroll, disciplinary and grievance, employee engagement
• Experience in leading and delivering service improvements within a HR environment
• Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office packages or related software
