HR Advisor

HR Advisor, 12 Month FTC, Reading, up to £45,000. Hybrid working on offer.

We have partnered on an exclusive basis with an established and ambitious organisation based in Reading, to help them recruit a HR Advisor. This organisation has an international presence and take pride on building long lasting relationships to support individuals and businesses in their specialist sector.

As the HR Advisor, you will work as part of a small close nit team, reporting into the Head of People. You will manage the day-to-day aspects of the operation of the HR function and will take primary responsibility for running various HR processes, providing first-line support and advice to managers and staff and supporting the Head of People on more complex issues and on project work.

This is an integral role, where you will be one of the key contacts for employees and act as a partner for the managers within the UK. The HR Advisor will be responsible for various tasks that include but will not be limited to:
* Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and procedures across the full employee lifecycle
* Maintain a solid working knowledge of employment and related laws, relevant to the professional services sector (employment terms, discrimination, conduct, dismissals, data protection).
* Handling straight forward ER matters,
* Assist with recruitment process and coordinate new joiners.
* Support wellbeing, engagement and Diversity and inclusion initiatives.
* Assist with learning & Development processes and activities.
* Pay and benefit administration and assist with queries.
* Be an ambassador, representing the organisations values.

You must be a highly motivated individual with the willingness to get involved in all tasks. CIPD qualification would be desirable.
