Great opportunity in central Bath for an HR Administrator to join a highly reputable Professional Services firm.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive role providing all HR administration to the business.

My client is looking for a forward thinking, confident and proactive HR Administrator that will enjoy working within a collaborative and supportive firm.

As the HR Administrator you will report into the HR Manager and will act as the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance, as well as providing all day to day transactional support around the employee life cycle.

Main duties will include:

  • Monitoring the shared HR inboxes and providing first-line advice on all HR policy and procedures.
  • Maintaining the HR system; data entry including e.g. accurate and timely entry of new employee information and employee HR data changes, ensuring accurate HR administrative processes and procedures are followed.
  • Taking responsibility for HR administrative processes including e.g. sickness absence records, maternity/paternity records and monitoring probation periods.
  • Managing all administration for new starters, leavers, pre employment checks, right to work and references.
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of employee data, working to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Working with the Finance team to ensure that payroll and benefits data is captured accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supporting with recruitment administration, including liaising with hiring managers and managing the online recruitment portal


What you will need:


To be successful in this role you will have solid and proven experience of working within a similar HR role ideally within a Professional Services environment.

You will demonstrate excellent administrative skills along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will understand the importance of working with confidential information and providing up to date and accurate reports as and when required.

You will have excellent communication skills, along with being highly organised and proactive in your approach.

You will be a self-starter who can use your own initiative to complete tasks and support the wider HR team and business.
