Macmillan Davies are currently working with a leading global consultancy and design business as they look to bring in a Reward Specialist to focus on a particular Country market.

Following some significant acquisitions, the Organisation have created a role for a Reward Specialist who is able to support the integration of the acquired businesses and develop and implement reward, wellbeing, recognition and pay strategies with particular regard to the Irish market.

Reporting to the European Reward Director this role will work closely will local stakeholders to implement a unified reward offering in the Irish market. Operating as a valued member of the Global Reward team of this expanding and sustainable business your remit will include:
* Integrating a consistent annual compensation review process in the local business area
* Align the existing compensation policies and procedures with the Global Reward Strategy. Making recommendations where necessary to compete with market trends
* Implementing the global job framework and connected pay scales in Ireland ensuring fairness, transparency and competitiveness
* Coordinate and participate in Performance and Reward projects with focus on global alignment, improvement and digitisation
* Producing regular analysis of salary, total compensation and benefits position against the market to ensure senior management have insight to inform decision-making
* Acting as the point of contact for expert Reward advice and governance regarding the integration of the new business in Ireland, resolving complex issues and recommending solutions and best practices
* Work closely with other People experts in the People Services Team, Strategic business Partners and with experts in Legal/Tax /Finance
* Stay informed about local Reward market developments to adopt best practices
* Lead in vendor management of local benefit providers ensuring they offer an effective and engaging mix of benefits and efficient services
* Producing Reward related communications if needed in the local organisation
* Undertaking salary benchmarking and calibration of roles for restructures and in-year salary increase requests

We'd love to hear from those Reward professionals who are looking for a good degree of autonomy and really enjoy the stakeholder engagement that goes with being the Reward expert for an entire business unit or Country.
Ideally you will offer:
* In depth experience as reward specialist in an international business environment
* Ability to work in an organisation in change with experience of working with business integrations and harmonisation of key reward initiatives
* Strong business sensitive skills to understand the complexity and challenges of the business dynamics and translating that to local Reward activities
* Ability to interpret and convey complex and challenging reward information to a variety of audiences
* Experience gained within the Irish market would be desirable but not essential
* An ability to be in Dublin once or twice per month

What's on offer:
Salary is up to £65k plus a variety of benefits
This role will be based remotely with an option to attend local offices if required or preferred. There will be a need to spend time in Dublin once or twice per month with expenses covered
