Job Details
Henlee Resourcing is working with a leading SME based near Wigan.
Supporting the Site Director and working with an off-site HR team, this role requires an experienced HR Officer / HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
It's a highly varied role, responsible for the full spectrum of generalist HR activities. Including:
- Employee relations - *Must have experience of managing disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management etc.
- Occupational health - managing long term sickness cases, organising referrals, return to work arrangements.
- Supporting managers with recruitment related activities.
- Coordinating the onboarding process arranging new starter inductions.
- Dealing with any HR related queries.
- Liaising with payroll to ensure enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and payroll changes are processed.
- Assisting with company benefits administration.
- Being the HR system 'Super user', providing monthly MI reporting and assisting with various HR projects
Applicants will have an enthusiasm for HR, coupled with solid understanding of UK employment law and practical experience gained with in a similarly demanding / changing environment.
You'll possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work to deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities and, have a high attention to detail. You will be flexible, organised and ambitious, with excellent customer service, IT (intermediate Excel) and communication skills.
N.B. This role is office based, with some travel to other sites so, you must be able to drive and have your own car.
