HR Operations Team Leader

Frazer Jones are working exclusively with an award-winning global property and investment company to find them someone to lead their HR Operations team, in a newly created, hands-on role based in their stunning London offices. Reporting to the Head of HR you will be responsible for day to day running of the shared service HR operations and systems team, which is a newly created inhouse department within the UK. The team's primary functions include the processing of new starters, leavers and transfers between offices, as well as processing any changes associated with HR policies, such as flexible working requests and maternity leave.

As the team leader your role will be split between managing the department, liaising with stakeholders and the wider HR, line management of the team, and when necessary, working alongside the team to process requests. Key responsibilities will be;

• Review and manage requests from across the company, both ad hoc and routine reporting from the HRIS
• Providing line management, support and development to the HR Systems team
• Ensuring that BAU processes are achievable and delivered in line with service level agreements
• When necessary, acting as the point of escalation for complex and non-routine matters
• Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the HRIS and all key HR Operations processes
• Ensuring the workload is distributed and prioritised effectively
• Monitoring and managing the performance of the team
• Conducting regular reviews of all HR processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose

What they are looking for is a confident, ambitious HR Operations specialist with some experience of managing/mentoring/leading others who is looking to step up into the Team Leader role.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience using SAP with a high degree of competency, but they will consider candidates who are expert users of another, complex HRIS and who are confident to transition onto SAP.

They are looking for someone to start ASAP but are happy to wait for the right candidate as this is an important hire, integral to their plans for the growth and development of their HR Operations function.
