Working alongside the People Manager, you will provide first line support which will cover end to end recruitment, absence management, grievances & disciplinaries, performance & appraisal reviews. You will also review and develop the HR policies and procedures, as well as support with the implementation of a new HR system.

Client Details

I have been briefed on a new and exciting HR Advisor vacancy for one of my Leeds based clients. They are a food manufacturer based in central Leeds, and they are looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a full time & permanent basis.

Description

As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • End to end recruitment processes, including on-boarding and off-boarding. You will produce offer and contract letters and process any contractual changes / variations
  • Supporting managers with grievances and disciplinaries, and providing coaching to managers to deal with all issues promptly and professionally
  • Absence and performance management
  • Implementing and developing HR policies and procedures
  • Reviewing current benefits and making changes where necessary
  • Supporting with the implementation of a HR system

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will have:

  • CIPD L5 or be working towards
  • FMCG background is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Good initiative with the confidence to suggest new ideas and put them into practice
  • Up to date knowledge of Employment Laws

Job Offer
