Payroll Manager - Permanent - South London - up to £75,000 per annum - Hybrid basis

Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered with a leading not-for-profit organisation, who are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager, on a permanent basis. As a Payroll Manager you will be an integral part of the Finance department and will be ensuring that each stage of the payroll process complies with due processes and procedures.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new exciting challenge and wants to be part of growing a successful new team, as this business goes through a transition of bringing payroll in house, from an outsourced provider.

The Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Ensuring that correct payments are made and appropriate information is provided for the pension schemes, HMRC and other statutory bodies
  • Providing advice and expertise in relation to the impact of external changes on occupational pension schemes
  • To undertake all aspects of line management responsibilities for any members of staff reporting in to this position: includes recruitment, performance management, personal development, absence management
  • To manage the interface between the Payroll system and the main accounting system ensuring financial integrity. To exercise financial control; monitoring; reconciling and reporting information to relevant bodies

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion payroll software is essential
  • Strong UK payroll knowledge is essential
  • Knowledge of local government pension schemes is desirable
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Manager within a similar role is desirable
  • Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
